SnapOut is a mobile application designed to help users notice prolonged phone use and take screen time breaks through gentle reminders.
SnapOut does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages, precise location, or payment information.
The app may access usage-related information available on the device through Android Usage Access permission. This is used only to determine whether the user is actively using other apps so SnapOut can provide timely reminders. SnapOut does not read the content of other apps, messages, websites, or notifications.

SnapOut stores app settings and usage-related reminder state locally on the user's device. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
SnapOut does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
The current version of SnapOut does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, or external tracking services.
SnapOut uses notification permission to show reminders. It may use exact alarm or reminder scheduling permissions to make reminders appear at the time selected by the app logic and the user's settings.
SnapOut is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
